2023 Pediatric Conference
Course Description:
The goal of the rehabilitation process for infants, children and adolescents is to function at their maximum potential and become contributing members of their families and society, regardless of their disability or chronic illness. This year’s pediatric rehabilitation conference brings together experts in the field to discuss key topics including diagnosing cerebral palsy (CP) and the phenomenology of movements in cerebral palsy. Other key topics include management of the ambulatory patient with spasticity, pediatric and adolescent dysphagia management and using recreation therapy for fitness and well-being for patients with cerebral palsy. Additionally, functional neurologic disorders (FND) and strategies for managing chronic pain in the pediatric population will be presented.
