2022 Western Michigan Brain Injury Network Symposium

Course Description:

The goal of clinicians who work with patients with a traumatic brain injury is to help them live and function as independently as possible. The 37th annual Western Michigan Brain Injury Network symposium provides valuable information on caregiver education and the caregiver perspective, the transition from pediatrics to adulthood with a TBI and post-traumatic confusional state. The use of telehealth has become extremely important as we strive to provide the best care possible during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Education on how to implement a new telehealth program and a panel discussion on the successes and challenges of using telehealth with TBI patients will benefit all participants.
