Course Description:

Complexity, chaos, high rates of change, serious safety and quality issues, and workforce shortages in health care are some of the reasons why clinical leadership is so important. This conference will bring together expert interprofessional faculty presenting important topics which are aimed to provide clinical leaders with evidence-based information about pain management strategies, effectively managing safety and risk issues, and providing great customer service to the patients we serve. Other key topics include relative value units (RVUs), space planning and staffing, using virtual health in the ever-changing healthcare environment, and using functional tools and collecting outcomes to improve patient care. Additionally, mindfulness-based stress reduction and implicit bias will also be presented.
